Speaking at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Pichai reflected on his days as a student traveling through Vizag on the Coromandel Express, noting that the “quiet coastal city” is now set to become a global capital for AI.

This project is Google’s largest-ever investment in India and is being executed through its subsidiary, Raiden Infotech, in close collaboration with the Adani Group and Bharti Airtel.
