Prime Minister Narendra Modi has officially launched the construction of the HCL-Foxconn semiconductor plant in Uttar Pradesh. The Rs 3,700 crore project, operated by "India Chip Pvt. Ltd.", marks a giant leap toward India’s goal of becoming a global chip manufacturing hub.
